While many people consider marigolds to be a warm plant, marigolds can be grown indoors year-round. Their bright flowers make them a good choice for an indoor winter flower garden 

The description:

This bushy plant containing about 20 to 30 species, has a long flowering period and its colors range from orange, yellow, golden and cream to apricot. Often used in making wreaths. Make excellent beds and pot decorations.

Plant Care Information:

Water deeply, then let the soil dry before watering again. Never allow the soil to remain soggy, as wet conditions invite root rot and other moisture-related diseases. Pinch the tips of newly planted marigolds once or twice to encourage bushy plants. Deadhead the plants regularly to trigger new blooms.
